Ο Ιωάννης Σκούρτης είναι ο νέος πρόεδρος της Ελληνικής Ομοσπονδίας Κανόε Καγιάκ μετά τις σημερινές (28/3) αρχαιρεσίες στις οποίες πήραν μέρος 21 σωματεία μέλη της ΕΟΚΚ με το ψηφιακό σύστημα «ΖΕΥΣ».
Ο Νέος πρόεδρος της Ομοσπονδίας που στηρίχθηκε από τον απερχόμενο πρόεδρο Αντώνη Νικολόπουλο έλαβε 17 ψήφους έναντι 4 ψήφων που έλαβε ο έτερος υποψήφιος Σπυρίδων Κατσαβός (δεν εκλέχθηκε) .

Αμέσως μετά το τέλος της Γενικής Συνέλευσης και της εκλογικής διαδικασίας το νέο ΔΣ συγκροτήθηκε σε σώμα
