NOVA HOSTS ILCA 4 YOUTH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2023
For 2023, the Nautical Club of Volos (NOVA) has undertaken for the first time in the Club's history an international Youth World Sailing race of type ILCA 4 which will be held at the Club's facilities and in the wider area of Anavros from July 22 to 30 2023.
It is the first time that Greece organizes a world sailing championship race and it will be hosted by the city of Volos.
It concerns the largest ILCA 4 type boat sailing race with a limit of 400 athletes from all over the world. These 12- to 18-year-old athletes are the quiver from which the next Olympians will emerge in all of sailing's individual sports.
